1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging M.R. Cleaning Services (Mountain Resort Cleaning Services) for cleaning services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern the provision of all cleaning services provided by M.R. Cleaning Services in Golden, BC and surrounding areas.
2. Services Provided
M.R. Cleaning Services offers the following professional cleaning services:
- Short-term rental turnover cleaning
- Co-host management for vacation rentals
- Residential cleaning services
- Commercial cleaning services
Specific services and scope will be agreed upon prior to each booking or in a service agreement.
3. Booking & Scheduling
Booking Confirmation: All bookings must be confirmed by M.R. Cleaning Services via email or phone. Service times are approximate and may vary based on property condition and scope of work.
Access to Property: Clients must provide safe and clear access to the property at the scheduled service time. This includes keys, access codes, or other entry arrangements as needed.
Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.
4. Pricing & Payment
Rates: Our standard rate is $55/hour, with final pricing based on property size, condition, and scope of work. Quotes will be provided prior to service where applicable.
Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged. We accept e-transfer, cash, and cheque.
Additional Charges: Extra charges may apply for excessive dirt, biohazards, mold, hoarding conditions, or services beyond the agreed-upon scope.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about the property and scope of work
- Removing or securing valuable and fragile items before service
- Ensuring pets are secured or removed from the cleaning area
- Notifying us of any special conditions (mold, pests, hazardous materials)
- Providing working utilities (water, electricity) necessary for cleaning
6. Liability & Insurance
M.R. Cleaning Services maintains general liability insurance and WorkSafeBC coverage. While we take every precaution to prevent damage, we are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage to property or items
- Damage to items not properly secured or not disclosed to us
- Normal wear and tear on surfaces during cleaning
- Items lost or stolen by third parties
Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion to be considered.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
We strive for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us within 24 hours of completion. We will work with you to address any concerns and, if necessary, return to re-clean specific areas at no additional charge.
8. Privacy & Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and maintain strict confidentiality regarding access to your property and any information obtained during service. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
9. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if:
- Unsafe or hazardous conditions exist
- Client behavior is inappropriate, threatening, or abusive
- Payment terms are not met
- Property conditions were misrepresented
10. Changes to Terms
M.R. Cleaning Services reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with the revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

12. Governing Law
